About the Position

Culver’s is looking for an experienced and dedicated General Manager to lead and inspire our team while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hospitality, and operational excellence. The General Manager plays a critical role in developing managers and team members, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring that every guest leaves happy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to foster a positive and collaborative culture among team members and managers.
  • Provide guidance, training, and development to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of daily operations, including restaurant flow, product ordering, inventory management, and labor posting.
  • Actively manage the restaurant during peak hours by working key stations and resolving bottlenecks to maintain smooth operations.
  • Develop weekly staff schedules aligned with sales forecasts to achieve business and financial goals.
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently maintained.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of restaurant equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, including dress code, safety, and labor standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching, feedback, and recommendations for wage adjustments.
  • Lead regular manager meetings to maintain alignment and communication across the leadership team.
  • Hire, onboard, and train new team members and managers, ensuring ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of restaurant leadership experience (at least 3 years as a General Manager required).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to build and sustain a high-performing team.
  • Proven ability to manage financial goals and operational standards.
  • National Food Safety Certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, guest-focused environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Lift/Carry:
    • 10 lbs or less – Constantly
    • 11–20 lbs – Frequently
    • 21–50 lbs – Occasionally
    • 51–100 lbs – Rarely
