This Contract-to-permanent position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual capable of managing a variety of technical tasks, including structured cabling, PC support, and networking. Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Configure and support system setups, including hardware and software components.
• Provide onsite networking assistance, including setup and diagnostics for switches and routers.
• Collaborate on project-based assignments, showcasing flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Develop and document repeatable processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software.
• Perform operating system installations, updates, and patch management.
• Offer technical support to end-users both onsite and remotely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and support documentation efforts.• Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Ansible, Apache ANT+, Terraform, Amazon EC2, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, including switch and router configurations.
• Experience with structured cabling installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues effectively.
• Familiarity with operating system installation and patch management processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
• Strong communication skills for providing effective technical support to end-users.
• Ability to manage IT asset inventories and maintain documentation efficiently.
