Job DescriptionCommercial Employees is hiring an Industrial Painter for a Delmont Metal Fabricator and shredding facility. Starting Pay for this 1st shift, full-time role, is from $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience. Our Industrial Painter will ensure high quality in an industrial setting while applying paints and coatings to various surfaces.Industrial Painter Role:
- Surface Preparation - Clean and prepare surfaces for painting by removing old coatings, applying primers, and ensuring surfaces are free of contaminants
- Paint Application - Apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using various techniques and tools, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers
- Mixing and Matching - Select and mix appropriate paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes
- Quality / Safety - Monitor work quality and safety to ensure strict quality and safety standards and maintained
- Equipment Maintenance - Maintain and clean tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition for optimal performance
Requirements for our Industrial Painter:
- A high school diploma or equivalent - additional painting training or certification is a plus
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and familiarity with tools such as airbrushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes and specifications
- Our team player will collaborate and provide assistance to other teammates and departments in order to meet requirements
- Must have prior experience in industrial painting
