General production worker

Description

Candidates will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture medical device parts

- You will be trained on industrial sewing machines in a class for a week

- After the class you will be on the production floor with a mentor showing you the production process

- Set up sewing machine with correct thread

- Increase production count to expected output level for each product (Given 13 weeks to do this)

- Maintain clean and safe work environment

- Sitting for extended period of times to operate sewing machine

- If an issue arise with sewing machine ask for help or call maintenance

- ensure products meet quality standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No Acrylic/Permanent Nails

No Jewelry - Wedding Bands are good, but no stones. If they have permanent piercings, then they have to wear a mask

No Lotions or Creams on the floor

Clear Plastic Bottle with a lock - needs to be approved by AJR to be on the floor (They have bottles to sell for $10 ea.)

- Experience or ability to show why a fast paced production environment is the right fit for the candidate

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
