As a Senior Development Coordinator, you will play a central role in driving fundraising initiatives that directly support individuals with autism and their families. What You’ll Do
- Support the Vice President of Development across all fundraising and development initiatives.
- Provide project-level and administrative support for special events, capital campaigns, stewardship, and donor engagement.
- Build and manage the editorial calendar for fundraising communications email campaigns, appeals, newsletters, and social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Partner with our Development Coordinator to ensure donations, invoices, and payments are processed accurately and reports reconcile.
- Maintain donor database integrity, ensuring accurate records and supporting strategic moves management.
- Play a key role in event execution: sponsorship and auction solicitation, volunteer and vendor coordination, and participant recruitment.
- Collaborate with internal staff and external partners (graphic designers, printers, etc.) on marketing and communications strategies.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with learners, families, staff, and donors.
- Generate detailed reports that inform decision-making and strategy.
- Document and improve standard operating procedures for recurring fundraising initiatives.
- Deliver exceptional service to every audience we serve.
- Attend fundraising events, including some evenings and weekends.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in development, marketing, communications, or fundraising).
- Strong knowledge of website and social media platforms.
- Experience with donor database systems.
- Background in fundraising, development, or donor relations, with a track record of supporting successful campaigns and events.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in time management.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.
