What You’ll Do

  • Support the Vice President of Development across all fundraising and development initiatives.
  • Provide project-level and administrative support for special events, capital campaigns, stewardship, and donor engagement.
  • Build and manage the editorial calendar for fundraising communications email campaigns, appeals, newsletters, and social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Partner with our Development Coordinator to ensure donations, invoices, and payments are processed accurately and reports reconcile.
  • Maintain donor database integrity, ensuring accurate records and supporting strategic moves management.
  • Play a key role in event execution: sponsorship and auction solicitation, volunteer and vendor coordination, and participant recruitment.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and external partners (graphic designers, printers, etc.) on marketing and communications strategies.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with learners, families, staff, and donors.
  • Generate detailed reports that inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Document and improve standard operating procedures for recurring fundraising initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional service to every audience we serve.
  • Attend fundraising events, including some evenings and weekends.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in development, marketing, communications, or fundraising).
  • Strong knowledge of website and social media platforms.
  • Experience with donor database systems.
  • Background in fundraising, development, or donor relations, with a track record of supporting successful campaigns and events.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in time management.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative spirit and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Integrity, sound judgment, and sensitivity to confidentiality.
  • A proactive, curious, and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for Alpine’s mission and enthusiasm for contributing to a growing team.
