Position Overview
The firm is currently seeking an experienced attorney with a minimum of six years of experience in transactional and/or real estate law to join its Corporate & Transactional Practice Group. This is a remote position, offering flexibility to work from any U.S. location, with optional in-office access for those near firm locations in the Midwest. The role involves working on sophisticated business and real estate transactions for clients that include Fortune 100/500 companies, government entities, financial institutions, developers, and emerging businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including MSAs, purchase agreements, and letters of intent

Handle inbound/outbound SaaS and software licensing agreements

Manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing

Draft and negotiate real estate-related agreements such as purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and closing documents

Advise clients on complex financial and legal structures related to commercial real estate

(If applicable) Draft and negotiate commercial loan documents, including syndicated and bilateral loan agreements

Ensure timely and efficient management of assigned matters

Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas and supervise work of paralegals and support staff
Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preference for Wisconsin, Iowa, or Illinois; admission in Indiana or other Midwest states is a plus)

Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities

Capable of handling a high-volume workload and meeting tight deadlines

Ability to meet or exceed billable hour and revenue expectations

Reliable, proactive, and responsive team player
