Automation Personnel Services is looking for a motivated Mobile Re-Key Sales Technician to join an innovative, fast-growing automotive service program in the Bay Area. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role perfect for someone who enjoys independence, engaging with people, and working from a fully equipped company-issued van.If you have experience in roles such as car technician/stereo installer, retail associate, inside sales rep, route driver, or any customer-focused position, you’ll thrive here. We’ll train you on the technical side; all you need is confidence, reliability, and a strong customer-service mindset.Compensation Package
• Base salary: $65,000 per year
• Weekly commission starting at 2.5%, increasing to 3.5% once performance thresholds are reached• Realistic First-Year Earnings (Salary + Commission): $72,000–$78,000+, depending on performance, location traffic, and commission tier• Strong earning potential with expected sales of $1,000–$1,500 per day
Schedule and HoursWednesday through Sunday
10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Consistent schedule with opportunities for additional hours based on business needs.Mobile Re-Key Sales TechnicianDuties and Responsibilities• Operate a company-provided van (valid driver’s license required).• Set up at a designated retail parking area and serve as the on-site customer contact.
• Engage customers throughout the day, build rapport, and identify rekeying needs.• Perform key and fob rekeying services using company-provided tools and training.• Maintain accurate logs of jobs, inventory, and customer interactions.• Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and strong customer-service skills.Mobile Re-Key Sales Technician Qualifications and Requirements• No locksmith experience required — we provide full training.
• Experience in customer service, sales, retail, automotive tech, mobile/route work, or similar roles.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong communication and people skills with a clean, professional appearance.
• Ability to manage company equipment responsibly and maintain an organized mobile workspace.
