Job Brief:
The Project Coordinator works closely with and supports the Project Manager to oversee administrative tasks, communication with stakeholders, and ensure resource availability for the project team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides support with the development of project management documents.
- Executes project management, administrative, and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders, and inventory reports, among other financial documents.
- Coordinates the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what’s needed at the right time.
- Assigns tasks to team members and helps them understand what’s expected related to project milestones and deliverables.
- Helps project managers monitor project progress and the team’s performance against timelines and deliverables.
- Schedules stakeholder meetings, provides documentation, and generates reports.
- Fosters cross-team collaboration.
- Participates/complies with company safety programs & company policies.
- Assists the project manager with document control, updating, and records monitoring.
- Work with vendors to provide project submittals.
- Other duties as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Project management certifications, Certified Associate in Project Management, Project Management Professional, or similar.
- 2 years administrative or coordinator experience required.
- Working knowledge of project management software and proficient with MS Office.
- Proficient and professional communication skills.
- Exceptional problem solver and highly organized.
- Adaptable to change.
- Good time management, delegation, planning, goal setting, and decision-making skills.
