Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker where you will start as a temporary employee and perform essential tasks such as shoveling debris, cleaning molds, and moving materials. You'll be an integral part of the production process, ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with production by performing general labor tasks and providing support in various areas of the plant.
- Ensure that all produced and packaged products meet or exceed company quality standards.
- Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations.
- Inspect finished products for physical defects and replace any defective items with acceptable products.
- Ensure accurate identification and tagging of packaged products, following established standards.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, as well as other plant areas as directed by supervisor.
- Participate in end-of-shift and end-of-day clean-up procedures.
- Adhere to all plant safety protocols and company policies.
- Undertake additional tasks and special projects as required by the company.
Essential Skills
- Industrial experience in manufacturing, landscaping, construction, or warehouse.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
- Machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
- Forklift certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience is a significant advantage.
- Experience in paver manufacturing is beneficial.

Work Environment
Our work environment includes day shifts from 6 am to 6 pm and night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am, with a 10% shift differential for nights. The environment is loud, both indoors and outdoors, with temperature fluctuations from hot in the summer to cold in the winter. It can be dusty at times, and cleaning machines can be a dirty task. Working with concrete, candidates must be comfortable in a dusty and dirty environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uxbridge, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
