Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.
- Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position.
- Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
- Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time.
- Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
- Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faulty or damaged tooling.
- Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of parts to determine tool specifications and tolerances.
- Keep presses operational.
- Perform preventative maintenance on molds.
- Restore damaged surfaces and re-machines to specifications.
- Reassemble, test, and adjust tooling.
- Perform slide changes.
- Check water flow on higher volume tooling.
- Knowledgeable in the areas of mold and tool making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (continued)
- Perform other repairs, corrections, and engineering changes to molds as requested by Production Tooling Manager.
- Teach and guide apprentices through all facets of mold making.

Education and/or Experience:
Four to ten years related experience and/or training with Journeyman or Master craftsman certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience
