Direct Support Professional (DSP) Part-Time $17.70/hour
SHIFT: Friday - Sunday 3pm to 11pm
Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate with Apis Services is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Part-Time (DSP) Residential Support Specialists position at our Hopewell area Group Home supporting adults with intellectual disabilities.
Advancing Opportunities is seeking a caring, compassionate people to provide assistance, supervision, guidance, mentoring and direction to our residents. Our mission is “Achieve full societal participation for all people with disabilities”.
Use your talents to assist and teach our consumers, with intellectual and physical disabilities, about: cooking, housekeeping, recreation, shopping, budgeting, healthy living, hygiene, personal medical care, coping skills, social skills, friendship building, and how to utilize their community resources. Make a difference by helping others gain daily living skills, greater independence and autonomy.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
Consent to State, Federal Criminal Background Checks;
Drug Screen; Pre-Employment Physical, PPD;
Complete all orientation, pre-service training as required
