Compensation: Competitive salary or hourly rate ($20-$30 based on experience) + performance bonuses + tips

Key Responsibilities:

Salon Manager Duties:

• Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction and a seamless client experience.
• Hire, train, and mentor a team of beauty professionals, fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage employee schedules to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and increase clientele.
• Monitor salon performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Act as a liaison between the salon team and upper management, providing regular updates and feedback.

Hairstylist Duties:

• Consult with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and style inspiration.
• Recommend personalized services based on hair type, features, and lifestyle.
• Perform expert haircuts, coloring (balayage, highlights, etc.), treatments, and blowouts.
• Install extensions and perform keratin and specialty services (training provided if needed).
• Educate clients on product usage and maintenance for healthy, lasting results.
• Ensure every client leaves feeling confident, refreshed, and part of the Moxie family.

Qualifications:

• Salon Manager:
  
  
  • At least 2 years of experience in management, preferably in the salon or beauty industry (not required but preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Hairstylist:
  
  
  • Valid New York cosmetology license (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a hairstylist, colorist, or similar role preferred.
  • Experience with makeup and lashes preferred; hair extensions is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills in cutting, styling, and coloring techniques.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service and creating exceptional client experiences.
