Job DescriptionWorking Foreman Commercial FenceJob Summary:
This position requires a construction minded individual. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation of high-quality fences for commercial properties. You will lead a team of dedicated fence installers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:

Follow schedules and monitor attendance of crew members to maintain the timeline of job(s)

Allocate general and daily responsibilities to meet project goals

Supervise and train crew members

Resolve problems when they arise

Report on-site progress to superintendent or project manager

Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
-
Clean and ensure all equipment is in proper working order
-
Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
-
Translate job tasks to co-workers in ways they can understand
-
Look over layout
-
Calculate concrete requirements accurately
-
Coordinate materials/equipment timelines and deliveries
-
Proficient in reading blueprints
-
Forecast manpower needs
-
Oversee daily safety/housekeeping
-
Ability to manage people
-
Read and interpret grade stakes
-
Verify the one call is complete and all markings have been identified
-
Communicate day-to-day progress
-
Jobsite forecasting
-
Corrective Action Forms
-
Evaluations with crew (60-Day and other evaluations)
-
OSHA 10, working toward OSHA 30
-
Class A CDL preferred
Qualifications:
-
High school or equivalent is required
-
US work authorization is required
-
Valid driver’s license is required, reliable transportation, a CDL is a plus
-
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting

Willing to work M-F with weekends, 8–12-hour shifts, and overtime when needed
-
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools
-
Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.
