Remote Family Law Attorney - NYC
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with a strong background in litigation, matrimonial law and divorce litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused legal professional to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling complex family and matrimonial matters and will demonstrate strong litigation skills and client service excellence.
Responsibilities:

Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and post-judgment litigation

Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and advise clients on case strategy

Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and trials

Negotiate settlements and prepare marital and custody agreements
-
Manage case timelines, deadlines, and procedural compliance
-
Collaborate closely with support staff and fellow attorneys to ensure high-quality client outcomes
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in New York (New Jersey bar admission a plus)

2+ years of experience in family and matrimonial law, including divorce litigation experience

Strong knowledge of New York Family and Supreme Court procedures

Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
-
Ability to handle a full caseload independently and meet deadlines under pressure

Client-focused with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
