Family Law Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients navigate complex family legal matters, including divorce, custody disputes, and property settlements. This position requires strong litigation skills and the ability to provide empathetic legal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and adoption matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements
- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in family law issues
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in family law disputes
- Manage case files and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Attend court hearings and trials as necessary
- Assist with intake processes and client consultations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Fluent/Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST-
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law and litigation
- Strong understanding of family law statutes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive client information with compassion and discretion
