Insurance Assistant Counsel

Chicago, IL

Salary package to $300K plus benefits and relocation

Duties Include:

• As part of the senior Management Team, the role will involve strategic planning for the firm, oversight of all contracts, claims, compliance, research and reports for the team.
• Experienced in contract negotiations, claims agreements, suppliers, broker contracts, stop loss agreements, etc.
• Partner with the underwriting, claims, producers, etc.
• Troubleshoot all settlements, fraud, subrogation and resolutions related to stop loss situations.

• Candidate Should Possess:

  
  

  • An Attorney, with least 8 years+ of insurance related experience (law firm and/or insurance firm)
  • Strong written and verbal skills with above average computer skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast moving and dynamic team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in the office
  • Strong adherence to new policies and procedures directed by senior management.
