Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist who is well-versed in New York City procurement regulations and can help us navigate the complexities of city contracting. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our compliance and optimizing our procurement strategies to better achieve our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
· Ensure all procurement activities comply with New York City regulations and guidelines.
· Work collaboratively with program managers and finance teams to align contracts with organizational goals.
· Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate contractual risks.
· Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Contract Specialist, preferably within the non-profit sector.
· Strong familiarity with New York City procurement policies and public contracting procedures.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
