Established (20+ Years) Manufacturing Firm Seeking Mechanical Engineer for Automation-Focused Facility in Hamilton, Indiana
An established (20+ years) U.S.-based manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support its engineering and production operations at its Hamilton, Indiana location. This is a hands-on role focused on production improvement, process automation, and supporting the build-out of a more fully automated manufacturing plant.
The Fort Wayne facility houses both engineering and production staff and is one of two key U.S. locations, alongside Hamilton, Indiana. The firm operates in a multi-tenant industrial space and shares the Cincinnati facility with other companies, but no production machinery is currently located there.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Background in process improvement and production automation
Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to plant layout and systems design
Experience with CAD software and mechanical design tools
Understanding of production workflows and continuous improvement methods
Requirements:
Ability to support process optimization and equipment automation projects
Comfort working cross-functionally with production and engineering teams
Experience integrating mechanical systems into production environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Openness to a broad range of mechanical engineering responsibilities

Offer:
Salary range: $85,000 - $130,000, depending on experience
