A busy Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking an experienced Contract Litigation Paralegal to support their growing caseload on an onsite basis. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in litigation and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in employment law, specifically PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) and Wage & Hour matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing case files for litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant case documents.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and document filings in compliance with court protocols.
- Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- Provide ongoing support during trial preparation and proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of PAGA and Wage & Hour claims is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools, e-filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Conduct research using tools such as Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) to support case preparation.
• Assist in managing document workflows and ensuring timely delivery of key materials.
• Leverage software tools like Aderant and CompuLaw to optimize legal operations.
• Proven experience working as a Litigation Paralegal in a detail-oriented legal environment.
• Proficiency in e-filing systems and calendaring tools such as CompuLaw.
• Familiarity with case management software and document formatting tools like Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong knowledge of billing functions and claim administration processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for client relations and team collaboration.
• Experience with Aderant and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
