We are looking for an Engineer 1 to join our team at The Hollywood Roosevelt someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and beautifully kept property.
What you will do
As an Engineer 1 at The Hollywood Roosevelt, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's building systems and ensuring all equipment runs safely and efficiently. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems, as well as handle general repairs, painting, and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas. You'll troubleshoot mechanical issues, complete maintenance logs, and respond quickly to service requests while maintaining the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction. Your work will play a key role in preserving the hotel's historic charm and supporting smooth daily operations.
What we are looking for

You're detailed-oriented, organized, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to guest satisfaction are essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required to support the 24/7 operations of The Hollywood Roosevelt.
