This position supports individuals to obtain and maintain employment as well as achieve meaningful active participation in a variety of community settings.

Responsibilities: Assess consumers needs and desires related to community activities and employment. Support, assist and teach individuals needed skills such as job interview skills, interpersonal skills and resume creation. Develop a positive professional relationship with individuals' employers and a detailed understanding of the requirements of the individuals' job.

Alternative Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and/or autism in their homes, jobs, and communities throughout the state of Michigan. We are seeking compassionate people to provide care and support in a vocational program setting. Full and Part-time positions are currently available in the Livonia, MI area.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, possess a valid Michigan Driver License and excellent moral character.

Schedule of work: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, and ocassionally on a Saturday.

Pay: $16.40 per hour
