Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Toxic Tort Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will focus on cases related to toxic torts, including silica exposure, and will represent clients in civil litigation and product liability matters. This role aims to provide exceptional legal services and advocate for our clients' rights in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in toxic tort litigation, including cases involving silica exposure.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to toxic torts.
- Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
- Attend court hearings and trials, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and experts to build strong cases for clients.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with opposing parties and insurance companies.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in toxic tort and product liability law.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Barred in CA
- 3+ years of experience in toxic tort, civil litigation, or product liability law.
- Strong understanding of insurance defense strategies and practices.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
