Are you a skilled Java developer with a passion for building scalable cloud-based applications? We’re looking for a Backend Java Developer to join a fast-paced team in Seattle, WA for a 3-month onsite contract. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge AWS technologies and contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java development
- Solid experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, SNS, S3, EC2, and Lambda
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications deployed on AWS
- Build and manage serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, SNS, and SQS
- Develop and optimize data models and queries using DynamoDB
- Integrate with S3 for object storage and EC2 for compute-intensive workloads
- Use AWS CDK to define and deploy infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with DevOps and architecture teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance
Location & Schedule
- Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA (Apollo Building)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
