As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable Teacher to support our Head Teacher and create meaningful connections with children, families, and our teaching team.
Position Summary
The Lead Teacher will collaborate with the Head Teacher to implement engaging lesson plans, lead classroom activities, and ensure the smooth operation of daily routines. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education, eager to grow their skills, and ready to bring creative ideas to our homestyle childcare approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid the Head Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Maintain open communication with parents through daily updates and periodic conferences to foster trust and transparency.
- Support the development and execution of lesson plans aligned with our homestyle philosophy.
- Lead small group activities, assist with classroom management, and facilitate outdoor play and exploration.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, including maintaining proper child/staff ratios and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the daycare’s programs and enrich the children’s experiences.
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associate’s in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Preferred).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.

Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday, 7am - 6pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
