Job Description
We are seeking a talented Drafter/Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating 3D models from engineering notes and references, applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards, and preparing customer-facing drawing packages. You will also ensure proper material and specification callouts, specifically focusing on aerospace hardware such as fasteners, brackets, and assemblies.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with CAD drawings.
- Knowledge of aerospace hardware.

- No degree needed.
Work Environment
This position is set in a manufacturing environment. You will have the opportunity to gain aerospace experience in a dynamic startup atmosphere. You will be part of a team that has recently been awarded a contract from NASA to rescue the SWIFT telescope. Our team is tasked with supporting the build of a robotic servicing spacecraft designed to extend the life of the SWIFT telescope by adjusting its orbit. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a significant aerospace project.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Broomfield, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
