Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Salary: $80K-$140K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
The Project Manager - Mechanical/Plumbing will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical and plumbing projects. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical and plumbing project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while overseeing resource allocation and project timelines.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical piping and plumbing projects, with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems design and installation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Deep understanding of mechanical piping systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Professional certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.
