Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 per year PLUS commission ($150k+ potential)
Sign on Bonus: $1,000
Our Law Firm looking for motivated and passionate applicants for our growing New Orleans office. Our firm offers a flexible work from home policy and will consider applicants located throughout the greater New Orleans area. Attorney must be licensed to practice law in Louisiana. Our firm also offers a competitive compensation program that allows the associate to earn a percentage of settlements/judgments. There is no limit on how much you can earn under this program. Your hard work will never go to waste when you work for our firm.
In addition to its work from home policy, you will be provided with the necessary support, equipment and tools to succeed in the position. You will be working in a collaborative work environment with opportunities for advancement. The associate will represent Plaintiffs in the areas of personal injury, employment and first party property. Our firm is one of the leading firms in the New Orleans area in employment law. On a daily basis, the Associate will work on all phases of litigation from case evaluation and reporting to discovery and depositions with an emphasis on strategic thinking to meeting client objectives. The Associate will work closely with the supervising attorney to ensure that the Associate is acquiring the necessary skills to succeed. Additionally, the Associate will need to have the following skills:
• Ability to personally meet with clients
• Ability to produce timely and consistent work products
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong writing and research skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on a case independently
• Ability to work with a team to develop strategies for a case
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
Licensed in the state of Louisiana
Minimum 3 years of experience
