Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or license in School Psychology
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
  • Proficient in data analysis and report writing

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing mental health challenges
  • Offer training and guidance to school staff on mental health best practices
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies when needed
