Location: Penrose, CO Area
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher (Exceptional Student Services ESS) to support 6th-grade students for the uping school year. This is an onsite contract position serving students with disabilities in the general education setting.
Position Details:

Grade Level: 6th Grade

Caseload: Approximately 2530 students

Start Date: August 11, 2025

pensation: $35$45 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Full-time, onsite
Responsibilities:
-
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
-
Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure inclusion and academic progress
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation
-
Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determination meetings
-
municate effectively with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members
-
Support pliance with all federal, state, and district special education requirements
Requirements:
-
Active Colorado Special Education License (required)

Previous experience working with middle school students preferred

Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Excellent munication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
