We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Northwest Arkansas. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives on technical challenges, client interaction, and field-based work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support geotechnical engineering projects from inception through completion
  • Conduct geotechnical field explorations, including drilling, soil sampling, and groundwater measurements
  • Perform analyses including slope stability, karst investigations, and expansive soil evaluations
  • Complete foundation evaluations and construction site inspections
  • Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and deliver technical recommendations
  • Manage projects, including proposal development, client communication, execution, and reporting
  • Perform Construction Materials Testing and special inspections (foundation inspections, proof rolling, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships in the Northwest Arkansas region
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory and field data using “standard” engineering software
  • Conduct field work to ensure data quality and accuracy

Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Arkansas
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical drilling techniques and field procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with client development in Northwest Arkansas
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and report writing
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
