Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in workers' compensation claims, providing expert legal advice, and developing defense strategies to mitigate risks and costs associated with these claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and hearings
  • Manage own caseload
  • Monthly billing of 180 hours
  • Monthly billing bonus opportunity
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for trial
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to workers' compensation
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting workers' compensation claims

Qualifications

  • Must be a California licensed attorney in good standing
  • Experience in workers' compensation law
  • Depositions
