Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sophisticated estate and tax planning for high-net-worth clients, including individuals, families, and business owners.
- Handle estate administration, income and transfer tax planning, and charitable giving strategies.
- Advise on business succession planning and entity structuring for LLCs and LPs.
- Interpret and apply Federal and California tax laws in client matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated client service.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience in estate planning or in a related practice such as tax-oriented real property or corporate transactional work.
- Strong background in Federal and California tax law is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with high-net-worth clients and manage complex planning structures.
- Prior experience in estate planning is highly valued, but not essential. Attorneys with corporate transactional or tax-focused backgrounds from large firms are encouraged to apply.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California.
- Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area market is a plus but not mandatory.
