We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our client's team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will support our personal injury practice by managing pre-litigation tasks and assisting with case preparation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work while collaborating closely with attorneys and clients.


Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare legal documents related to personal injury cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other parties to gather information and provide updates.

• Conduct thorough research to support case strategies and assist attorneys in building strong arguments.

• Obtain and review medical records, bills, liens, and account balances to ensure all necessary documentation is collected.

• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.

• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for litigation, including trial preparation and discovery tasks.

• Use case management software to track deadlines, manage workflows, and streamline case processes.

• Review and analyze documents related to insurance claims and personal injury cases.

• Assist in managing civil litigation procedures for personal injury plaintiffs.

• Provide additional administrative and legal support as needed to ensure smooth case progression.

• Proven experience in personal injury law or a related legal field.

• Strong skills in legal document preparation and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Proficiency in conducting legal research and reviewing case-related documents.

• Fluency in Spanish is required to communicate with diverse clients.

• Familiarity with the insurance claims process is highly desirable.

• Paralegal certificate or relevant degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with case management software and civil litigation procedures is an advantage.
