Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team in Lexington, Kentucky. This is a contract position with the potential to become permanent, offering an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and discovery processes, with a background in insurance defense being a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to support case strategies and legal arguments.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
• Coordinate discovery processes, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in litigation to gather information and provide updates.
• Monitor case progress and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks and compliance with court requirements.
• Provide administrative support during trial preparation, including creating exhibits and summaries.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and identify key evidence.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of legal work.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate information and support.• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in civil litigation.
• Proficiency in discovery processes and legal research techniques.
• Familiarity with insurance defense is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in legal software and document management systems.
• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification is preferred.
