Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in an adaptive learning environment. Located in Cary, NC, this full-time, Monday through Friday contract position spans the school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Employ adaptive curriculum techniques to support a diverse range of learners.
- Manage a small group of 6-8 students, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom setting.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting.
- Familiarity with adaptive curriculum strategies and classroom management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student growth and individualized instruction.
