Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to improve automation and operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in optimizing production processes and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
  • Implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming
  • Experience with automation systems and processes
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
