Job Title: CNC Machinist
Department: Machine Shop
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Summary
Applies knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to program, set up, and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts, molds, fixtures, and jigs. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Utilize advanced machining techniques to fabricate intricate components and molds according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret technical blueprints, sketches, and CAD models to determine optimal machining methods and tooling requirements.
• Utilize a range of CNC and manual machining equipment, ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety in all operations.
• Set up and operate a CNC Lathe
