Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 special education position is available for the current school year in Saint Paul, MN. This contract role is ideal for educators with a strong background in special education, seeking to make a meaningful impact on students academic and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure inclusive and effective learning environments
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate student records and comply with state and federal regulations
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral supports to students with diverse learning challenges
Qualifications:
- Valid Teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, flexibility, and dedication to student success
