We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join a dynamic mid-sized law firm in Seattle, Washington. This firm is recognized for its exceptional legal services and commitment to client success, offering a collaborative and fast-paced environment for professionals to excel. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of insurance law and a proven ability to navigate complex coverage matters, litigation, and client advising.


Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze insurance policies to provide clients with clear, actionable coverage opinions.

• Manage insurance coverage disputes, including declaratory judgments, breach of contract cases, and bad faith claims.

• Represent clients throughout all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, as well as attending hearings, depositions, and trials.

• Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and corporate clients to design effective case strategies and mitigate risks.

• Negotiate settlements and lead mediation efforts to resolve disputes efficiently.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in insurance law to ensure compliance and deliver innovative legal solutions.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced attorneys while fostering collaboration with other practice groups as needed.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association.

• 2-8 years of experience specializing in insurance coverage litigation

• Demonstrated expertise in handling first-party and third-party insurance coverage matters.

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills with the ability to present complex legal concepts effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
