About The Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support the legal, corporate, and wealth management services for The Rise Collective. This role is focused on entity formation, corporate governance, and investor services for third-party investors focused on short-term rentals. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in corporate legal support and is comfortable working in a client-facing, investor-driven environment.
This role is an in-office position located in St. Petersburg, FL, and the Real Estate Paralegal must be able to reliably commute to and work in our St. Petersburg, FL office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file formation and qualification documents for corporations, LLCs, and other entities
- Draft and maintain governance documents (bylaws, operating agreements, resolutions) through a software platform
- Manage minute books, corporate records, and compliance calendars
- Support due diligence and closing deliverables for affiliate transactions
- Handle post-closing filings and state agency communications
- Assist with trust and estate planning documents (e.g., trust agreements, beneficiary designations) as needed through software platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years’ corporate paralegal experience (entity formation and transactional work)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient with state filing procedures, MS Office, and document management systems
- Familiarity with estate planning processes preferred
Physical requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate client and project needs, as well as team members and projects in multiple time zones.
- Must be able to reliably commute to and work in our St. Petersburg, FL office.
