Job Description
Join our team as an Aircraft Manufacturing Inspector where you'll play a critical role in the final inspection of fuselages for Boeing B737 Aircraft. You will evaluate damage or discrepancies in skins, holes, fasteners, and sealant, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform final inspection of fuselages for Boeing B737 Aircraft.
- Evaluate damage or discrepancies in skins, holes, fasteners, and sealant.
- Write non-conformance reports.
- Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications.
- Utilize shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Operate testing machines, calculate and record results.
- Maintain necessary certifications.
- Plan own sequence of operations.
- Follow inspection procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies.
- Verify tool qualifications.
- Prepare and maintain quality records.
- Work across equivalent or lower-level inspector job codes as required.
- Coordinate work assignments with other company organizations or customer representatives.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience inspecting airframe structures preferred.
- Experience in writing non-conformance reports/tags preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP preferred.
- Flexibility with shift work and openness to overtime.
- Experience in First Article Inspection, Aircraft Assembly, and Aviation Manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in structural assembly and composites.
- Dimensional inspection and aircraft components knowledge.
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Previous experience with Airbus FAL is advantageous.

This position is based in a manufacturing environment, where you will be engaged in hands-on inspection tasks. Flexibility in shifts and the ability to work overtime are required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Sedgwick, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $43.00/hr.
