A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented Finance Associate to join its Finance & Transactions group in one of its major offices: Chicago, New York, or Dallas. This is a compelling opportunity for attorneys with solid commercial finance experience who are looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative legal environment.
The team offers exposure to a wide variety of matters and supports attorneys who want to take on meaningful responsibility and engage directly with clients.
What You'll Do
- Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated commercial finance transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documentation
- Manage transactions from origination through closing across multiple industries and deal types
- Work closely with shareholders and participate in business development initiatives
- Handle a high-volume practice with direct client interaction and mentorship
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of commercial finance experience at a law firm
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation and transaction structuring
- Ability to manage multiple matters and workstreams simultaneously
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Bar admission (or pending admission) in the relevant jurisdiction: Illinois, New York, or Texas
