Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Attorney with an active California Bar License in good standing to join our legal team in Los Angeles, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases, including plaintiff and defense litigation, with a focus on delivering high-quality representation. The role is fully on-site and provides a competitive compensation package, including a potential salary of up to $200k annually and a desirable bonus structure.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of litigation from case initiation through trial, ensuring thorough preparation and execution.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Represent clients effectively during court appearances, motion hearings, and depositions.
• Develop case strategies through regular communication with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Liaise with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progression.
• Handle cases involving complex personal injury matters, including medical malpractice and contested liability claims.
• Address premises liability and habitability cases, maintaining a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards while managing a select caseload.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, if applicable.• Active California Bar License in good standing.
• Minimum of three years of experience in civil litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
• Strong skills in drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research and writing detailed analyses.
• Demonstrated ability to manage discovery processes, including drafting responses and requests.
• Experience in handling depositions, both taking and defending.
• Familiarity with plaintiff and defense work in personal injury law.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
