As an Enhanced Support Partner you will be providing direct support in partnership with people with disabilities, on a one-to-one basis, in their own homes and communities. Services include direct support in the form of community involvement and/or accommodation with all activities of daily living including personal care, communication, transportation and inclusive social and recreational activities.
This is a full-time position to assist a man in his early 30s to live a self-determined life. He is seeking staff who enjoy being out and about in the community, helping him participate in activities, including enjoying pool time. He wants to partner with people who are willing to be an ally for him and his family. Most importantly, people who believe in full-civil rights for all people.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
·Assistance with participating in all aspects of his community
·Assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
·Lifting
·Feeding and administering medication using a G-Tube
·Assisting individual to travel in the community
·Assisting with feeding
·Assistance with physical activity in swimming pool (waist high water)
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday: 7AM - 3PM
Saturday: 2PM - 9PM

Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work or Gerontology OR be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Candidates who are NADD certified (National Association for the Dually Diagnosed) or are willing to be NADD certified will also be considered!
- 18 years of age or older
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Be or willing to be Covid-19 Vaccinated AND Boosted prior to employment
- Personal or professional experience with people with intellectual disabilities and a physical disability is preferred
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be bilingual, English/Spanish (preferred, not required)
- Have a great sense of humor
- Have a calm demeanor, even in challenging times

- Be a clear communicator and be able to navigate complex interpersonal relationships
