The Pro Shop Sales Manager oversees all operations of the Ranch’s retail store and directly contributes to the member greeting and hospitality experience- serving as the first point of contact and concierge-style ambassador for members and guests. This position is responsible for curating luxury sporting lifestyle merchandise, assisting with reservations (including daily, hunting season, and group reservations), and driving retail and experiential engagement to exceed member expectations.
The Pro Shop Sales Manager must obtain and maintain a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to assist with FFL compliance and firearms-related transactions. The role requires flexibility depending on operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
This is an Exempt position reporting to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the store and member greeting experience, ensuring each interaction reflects the level of service and hospitality expected of a concierge.
• Assist with daily, hunting season, and group reservations in coordination with the Operations and Sporting teams.
• Meet and exceed sales goals while providing members and guests with an exceptional and personalized experience.
• Drive sales initiatives, motivate team members, and create strategies to surpass revenue and engagement targets.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and sale of all retail products, including apparel, ammunition, firearms, and accessories.
• Ensure compliance with FFL and COE requirements in all firearm-related transactions.
• Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising to optimize sales and enhance the in-store brand presentation.
• Curate and host trunk shows, product launches, and seasonal events in collaboration with vendors and the marketing team.
• Develop metrics and reports on sales trends, inventory turnover, and risk to channel revenue targets.
• Lead and inspire the retail team through coaching, sales training, and regular performance reviews.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors, distributors, and trunk show partners.
• Collaborate with Operations and Marketing to align retail and member engagement strategies.
• Ensure the retail environment and workspace are consistently organized, clean, and aligned with the WBR aesthetic.
• Provide event and member support as needed during special events and peak operational periods.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing operational needs and event schedules.
• Knowledge of firearms, outdoor sporting goods, and lifestyle brands preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and experience with Clubessential POS is a plus.
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of retail sales and customer service experience, ideally in luxury, sporting, or hospitality environments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a COE (Certificate of Eligibility) for FFL compliance.
Compensation and Benefits
• Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
