Associate Tax Attorney – Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Structure and advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings

• Provide tax guidance on finance transactions, including debt and equity offerings

• Advise on tax aspects of real estate investments and developments

• Collaborate with clients, deal teams, and internal practice groups to deliver integrated tax solutions

• Support due diligence and prepare documentation on tax implications

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a tax associate at a respected law firm

• Strong background in transactional tax matters, including M&A, finance, and real estate

• Excellent academic credentials

• Active California Bar membership (or eligibility to waive in)

• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
