A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2022-2023 school year, supporting students across grades K12. This contract role spans a full semester and offers opportunities at multiple locations within the Phoenix, AZ area. The focus is on providing specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in an elementary school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned caseload across K12 grades.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate students with varying learning abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
- Monitor academic progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in regular meetings regarding student development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students in elementary settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse K12 caseload.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
