Ambassador Personnel is seeking a Field Service Technician for a valued client in the Charlotte area. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues, performing repairs and maintenance on weaving machines, accurately documenting all service activities, and maintaining clear, professional communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in providing technical support and service for industrial machinery.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with machinery installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and machine control systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel frequently (65-75%), sometimes internationally, after initial 3-month training.
• An associate’s degree in mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in the manufacturing or textile industry is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
