Opportunity Partnerships 4 Dentists is a DSO (dental service organization) and a sister company of Encore Enterprises, Inc., a diversified real estate company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with over 600 corporate and project level employees, located throughout the United States. We are seeking a Senior IT Specialist to join our IT team, supporting 41 dental practices we partner with.
About Encore Enterprises Encore develops, acquires and manages dental practices, multifamily properties, mixed-use complexes, hotels, retail shopping centers, single tenant retail, commercial office buildings, restaurants and residential subdivisions. Since its formation in 1999, Encore has completed over 150+ commercial real estate transactions with a total value over $3.7 Billion that has yielded a blended internal rate of return of 30% to investors.
Position Overview We have a technical team supporting 41+ dental practices across multiple states, in the US. This individual must live in Texas, in or around the DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) area. 25% of travel is required for projects. Our team supports and manages projects for servers, software, network, security and telecommunications. Room for growth with a great opportunity to gain a ton of experience in the IT healthcare field. This position is a hybrid remote position. Support responsibilities are balanced between our local team and various MSP (managed service providers).
Qualification Overview
- 3+ Years of project management experience. Leading technical resources through hardware / network upgrades. VOIP conversions from one provider to another, port requests and dial plans.
- 3+ Years of server administration, procurement, ground up installation and configuration in an active directory environment. Physical and virtual.
- 3+ Years of networking administration experience. Firewall, access point, LAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN Tunneling, Dual WAN and network security best practices. Network cabling, troubleshooting punch down and racking experience a plus.
- 3+ Years of experience working with Dental Practice Management Software. Supporting products like Open Dental, Dentrix and / or Eaglesoft.
- 3+ Years of experience working with Dental Imaging and X-Ray Equipment, intra-oral cameras, scanners and intra-oral X-Ray devices. Cone Beam and Pano a plus.
- 3+ Years of experience working with Dental Imaging Software like: EzDent-i, Dexis and Eaglesoft.
- 3+ Years of experience working with Dental X-Ray Sensors like: VaTech, Dexis, KAVO, Schick, Clio.

- Citrix Hosted Workspace, VDA and Cloud Connector.
- Cisco Meraki firewall and access points. Unifi managed switch and cloud key.

- Familiar with Audit Compliances like PCI, SOC1, SOC2, SOX, HIPAA and PHI
- Strong Communication skills.
- Ability to work on complex technical issues with multiple teams.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines.
