Field Technician – Environmental Services

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, safety-minded individuals who want to work locally and gain hands-on experience in environmental operations such as hazardous waste removal, asbestos, mold, and lead abatement, and demolition support. A HAZMAT license is a strong plus.
Job Overview
The Field Technician will support environmental service projects across local job sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive locally to project sites, transporting materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with environmental services including hazardous waste removal, asbestos, mold, lead abatement, and demolition support.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, work performed, and site conditions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project updates.
- Ensure company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained.
- Perform general labor and support duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Prior experience in environmental services, construction, or related fields preferred.
- HAZMAT license a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Local candidates preferred for quick response to job sites.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
